Jeff founded Jeffrey M. Young & Company, formerly known as Structural Strategies, Inc. in 1997. Prior to starting his own engineering practice, Jeff spent 14 years gaining engineering and construction experience with other companies. During that time he also worked as a research assistant while earning his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
Jeff has more than 35 years experience in engineering and construction. His areas of expertise include structural evaluations and investigations, design of structural retrofitting and remedial repairs, and structural design in the industrial/manufacturing and utility sectors.
