At Jeffrey M. Young & Company we work with clients who have structures that have been through events such as tornados, hurricanes, and fires who need to know the resulting condition of their buildings. We also work with clients looking to purchase or lease a building who must have a clear understanding of its condition before doing so.
Our goal is to conduct condition assessments that meet the needs of our clients. We can provide a simple "trained eye" assessment in which we observe the main structural elements of a building and note readily apparent damages and distresses. We can also provide a detailed, in-depth assessment that consists of thorough observation of the entire structure with associated recording and classification of noted damages and distresses. In-depth assessments can include destructive and non-destructive testing, load testing, and analysis calculations.
All condition assessment reports prepared by Jeffrey M. Young & Company contain recommendations as to how a client should proceed and a time frame for addressing reported damage and distresses.
